2. I love all of Cocteau Twins' releases, but Garlands definitely has a place of its own in my heart. Many 'fans' don't like Garlands. Others say Cocteau Twins albums get better, one after the other until Heaven and Las Vegas (the professed pinnacle). Obviously personal taste affects assessment of how to rank a Cocteau Twins album/5().

3. Feb 27,  · As with the other recent 4AD vinyl reissues of the Cocteau back-catalog, this sounds absolutely sublime. In fact, and maybe it's because Treasure is such an early release, the mastering job here is truly stunning and makes for what I believe is the finest Cocteau Twins reissue yet, and I'm about as big a fanboy of CT as you'll find/5().

Yes, it is brighter, edgier, and harder sounding than the original versions on vinyl, but I do rather like the increased dimension, definition, and /5(5).
