Jun 19,  · While connoisseurs may balk at this fairly showy album, it is sure to appeal to a wide audience, perhaps most especially because of the inclusion of Lang Lang’s duet with Danish singer Oh Land, “Tristesse,” which is based on Chopin’s Étude in E major, Op. 10/3, and taken from the soundtrack for the film The Flying Machine.

4. Icelandic re-issue label, named after a record label active in the 's, the rights to that label were bought in by SG Hljómplötur, who in turn were bought by Steinar in the 's. Steinar resurrected the label to use for re-issues of older material in the late 's, and this practice was continued after Steinar was sold.

9. The album marked a completely new direction for Bubbi. Despite the exuberant arrangements and musical performances, the lyrics are a mixture of plaintive laments of loss and regret and the protest lyrics Bubbi was known for. Bubbi Morthens remains one of Icelands most prolific and popular musicians.
